Trying out some scarf patterns

This pattern uses 2 strands of DK wool knitted together on 8mm needles. It knits up quickly and is nice and lacy and chunky!
cast on 25 stitches
k1, ** yarn forward, k2tog, repeat from ** to end

with 40 stitches with DK wool it's quite thin width ways (about 5 inches) but is very pretty, although it takes a long time to knit!




Don't know why these photos have turned sideways! Both are with multicoloured wool, the blue is a rib pattern, but as the wool is multicoloured it doesn't show very well in the photo. The next is a plain garter stitch.
